The Chester/Lake Almanor Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses whose primary mission is to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of the Lake Almanor Basin.

The Chamber serves the community through educational services, promotional programs, events and publications that are intended to promote the residential, recreational and economic advantages of the Lake Almanor Basin as a place to visit, live, work and invest.

The Chester- Lake Almanor Chamber of Commerce is committed to the quality of life and economic climate of the Almanor basin area. With the success of each business and our community as our primary focus, the Chester-Lake Almanor Chamber, led by an elected Board of Directors, is actively involved with many issues and efforts to foster community and business growth. The Chamber acts as a concerted "voice" of business to promote and protect the interests of business and the community at large.

As a resource for information the Chamber and Visitor’s Center provides businesses, residents and visitors with maps, lodging and restaurant listings, business referrals and relocation packets.

The Chamber website is the focal point of Chamber activity as well as a trusted site for visitor information. The Chamber's web receives over 350,000 directory inquiries each year and over 1,870,000 member exposures which includes internet search engine visits

The Chamber’s ultimate goal is to provide our members with the opportunities and support they need to grow and to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life in the Lake Almanor Basin.
