Lake Almanor Weddings

The Lake Almanor Basin and Lassen National Volcanic Park have been the the backdrop for
some of California's most beautiful Weddings.

Why a Lake Almanor Wedding?

During the months of June, July, August and September, when the heat of the North Valley becomes unbearable, the weather in the Lake Almanor Basin is perfect.

June through September, Lassen Volcanic National Park and The Lake Almanor Area Basin still boasts the beauty of Spring. It is common in July and August to still see wild flowers blooming in the high meadows.

No matter your budget, the Lake Almanor Basin is an exceptional stage for gorgeous outdoor drama. If the service, product or vendor you are looking for isn't already here, all can easily be brought in, Chico, Redding, Red Bluff and Reno are less than 2 hours away.

Your guests will be treated to wonderful and diverse choices in recreational adventure. The Basin and surrounding area offer world-class fishing in lakes and streams, family fun on skis, wake boards, tubes and watercraft, an off road vehicle wonderland and quiet mountain adventures in camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, horseback riding, bird watching and championship golf.

Why Lake Almanor

There isn't a more epic backdrop. The Lake Almanor Basin and surrounding area spread across a natural wonderland created by millions of years of geologic forces, a crossroad where the granite of the Sierra Nevada meets the lava of the Cascades.

At 4,500 feet the Lake Almanor Basin lies at the headwaters of the Feather River and nestles within the boundaries of the Lassen National Forest, near Lassen Volcanic National Park and along the southern most end of the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway, the geologically historic point where the Sierra Nevada meet the Cascades.
