Chester Park

Chester Park is located on Willow off Main Street, lies along the North Fork of the Feather River, boasts picnic tables, a playground, ball fields, a band shell, public restrooms, beautiful lawns and pines. The park is the location of many summer activities and events, including the Mile High Century Bike Ride, A Few Brews and a Banjo, the 4th of July Craft Show and Picnic in the Park. The park sits at the trail head of the Collins Pine trail.


Chester Park is host to many local events: Memorial Day and 4th of July Craft Fairs, A Few Brews and a Banjo, Concerts in the Park and the Annual Street Rod Extravaganza.

Collins Park

The Collins Park owned by the Collins Pine Company, is located at the southwest entrance to Chester. Collins Pine Park is the location of the the Collins Museum and is the lovely setting for community events such as the Almanor Art Show in August.
