2024 Grand Marshal
The announcement of the 2024 Grand Marshal for the July 4th parade brings great pleasure as Barbara Montandon has been selected for her exceptional dedication to supporting PAWS Plumas Animal Welfare Society. PAWS was founded in 1999, and since then the organization has rescued, provided medical care and found homes for more than 4,000 cats and kittens that faced neglect or abandonment. Barbara's tireless efforts in organizing and participating in fundraising events, as well as adoption drives, have significantly contributed to the well-being of animals within our community. Her commitment and passion for this cause are truly commendable, making her a deserving recipient of this prestigious honor.
